Small changes add up to a BIG difference

Sure, parking in the back row of the parking lot for a little extra walking may not seem like much. And eating on smaller plates to help control the portions you take. That's the point.

Find fun, tasty ways to incorporate better nutrition and more physical activity into your routine - in simple ways that quickly become routine. All of which adds up to a healthier you.


Change something this week:

1. Instead of watching TV with a bag of popcorn, try a bag of baby carrots.

2. Wake up. Do 20 sit-ups before you even have time to think about it.

3. Keep a Ziploc bag of dried fruit instead of candy in your drawer at work.

4. Split a restaurant entree with a friend to get a healthier portion size. And then, split the bill!

5. Park in the last parking space and walk.

6. Jump rope: They aren't just for playgrounds anymore.
