Taste Around the World was the first Healthy Kids Summer Camp at Greenbush. This second through third grade camp was held on June 14 from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Check out the photos below to see how much fun the participants had tasting fruits and vegetables that originated from all over the world!
Gross Grub was the second Healthy Kids Summer Camp held at Greenbush. The camp was held June 19 from 9:00am to 1:00pm for kids going into grades Kindergarten and First. The participants had fun scavenging blindfolded through gross grub (cooked spaghetti) for fruits and vegetables.
Build Your Own Pyramid was the third Healthy Kids Summer Camp held at Greenbush this summer. The camp was held July 6 from 9:00am to 1:00pm for kids going into grades Second and Third. The activities for the day included: learning about the food pyramid to build healthy bodies and strong bones, food pyramid relays, healthy meal planning, sandwich kabobs, and following a recipe to make Very Berry Banana Smoothies.

Very Hungry Caterpillar was the fourth Healthy Kids Summer Camp held at Greenbush this summer. The camp was held July 19 from 9:00am to 1:00pm for kids going into Kindergarten and First grades. The activities for the day included: reading the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar book by Eric Carle, making their own caterpillars, butterflies, sandwich kabobs, drinking nectar, and determining if the foods the caterpillar ate were healthy or junk foods.

Off the Beaten Path was the fifth Healthy Kids Summer Camp held at Greenbush this summer. The camp was held July 27 from 9:00am to 1:00pm for kids going into grades Fourth and Fifth. The activities for the day included: going on a nature walk, scavenger hunt, making sandwich kabobs, Campfire Veggies and Peachy Caramel S' mores on the grill, making flower vases, trail mix, origami, and sun catchers.
